| What a freaky movie...don't know if I'll be watching that again anytime soon.
There isn't much to update, life is the same as usual. I'll be heading down to my Aunt's house this weekend in Mission Viejo to chill with my brother and cousins. LAUP people come back tomorrow...congrats on sticking through it everyone!
Other things that are happening...pre rush for sororities begins on Monday, August 8th from 10am - 9pm. Which means all day we'll be hearing girls cheering, chanting, and acting peppy. No complaints here. ABSOLUTELY none. I'm looking forward to seeing what all the hype about pre rush is about. On the same Greek note, pampers comes back on Sunday night so we'll all be welcoming him properly if you know what I mean.
So since I'm bored, I'll list the things that I am considering buying...
1. FM transmitter - A must for a car owner with over 5GB of songs on his iPod.
2. Snowboard - I know I know, you're all saying it's expensive, but my friend is willing to sell it to me for cheap, so why not?
3. Disneyland Annual Pass with free parking - Hey, come on, if I go at least 5 times in the next year, it will totally be worth it.
4. Car freshener - I think my car is starting to smell...and I'm kind of sick of the new car smell anyway.
5. Puma shoes - My other shoes are wasting away.
6. DDR pads - Once again, I actually play a lot, so it would be a worthwhile investment. And not to mention a good work out. Too bad my roommate took his pads back..

It's quiet. It's early. My coffee is hot. The sky is still black. The world is still asleep. The day is coming.

Summer has been amazing. I can't possibly understand the things God is requiring of me. Before this summer, I used to be a person who was concerned with what people thought and made my image to be one that people would like and admire. If you noticed, that last sentence contained to many "I"s and "my" words. I've found it challenging, yet rewarding to instead follow what God says and stand firm to the truth. When this summer started, I was expecting to intern with Boeing, but that didn't work out. I expected to go home to Hawaii, but that didn't work out. I expected many things from God, yet He still gave me enough to get by.
With that said, it's time for a little bit of my heart...I've really come to see the heart of God and what he means to me in my life. I know many people speak of this, but God has been so specific in my life and pointing out really specific details in my life that he wants me to understand. For example, not giving into temptations by continually gazing at the gorgeous blonde girl walking opposite me on campus. Or expressing opinion when others say things that do not sit well with me. It even means loving those who irritate me. I'm not talking about cooling down first and then loving them, but loving them the moment they offend you. While the person is accusing you, you forgive them, and continue to love them inspite of what they do. If anyone recalls, Jesus did not wait to cool down before forgiving people. He forgave them while they were beating him severely.
The heart of God is the heart to serve. If you do not have the heart of God, you cannot serve. It's as simple as that. I'll speak more about AGO in the coming days. For now, I'll end it.
